What Happened to Marion's Book?

 

I read "What Happened to Marion's Book" to the students during their first weeks of school.  We have a tiny Marion stuffed animal that I used and we talked a little about hedgehogs.  I showed a picture at the back of the book of the real Marion hedgehog and told how she got her name.  As the younger students listened to the story they thought about if Marion did the right thing with each problem and gave the thumbs up or thumbs down sign.  After the story we talked about book care and then each student was given a book mark from the work book that came along with the book.
