At Eastlake, we are celebrating National Library Week by - reading books about libraries. We selected books by grade level and have used them to facilitate discussions with each class about the importance of libraries. The students have really enjoyed this activity! These are the books we're using:
Kindergarten: "Read it, Don't Eat it!" and "Manners with a Library Book"
1st and 2nd: "Born to Read"
3rd and 4th: "Library Lion", "Wild About Books", and "The Library"
5th and 6th: " The Librarian of Basra"
