For the month of October, our Library Detectives were investigating, Bigfoot aka Sasquatch, The Yeti, The Abominable Snowman. Is it fact or fiction? First we shared some facts and pictures we had gathered from the internet on encounters with Bigfoot, some even right here in Utah! Did you know that just this last June an expedition was sent out in Northeastern Utah looking for the creature?
The next week we read from Michael Teitelbaum's book "The Scary States of America," about a bigfoot encounter in Alaska and finally we even had some recorded Bigfoot sounds!
We read and told all our stories around our homemade campfire with the lights dimmed. The kids loved this fun month of adventure.
