Title: The Twin Princes
Author: Tedd Arnold
Grades: 4-6
Comments: Sometimes it can be difficult to find a story for the older grades. This story has two chickens as the princes. Their father, the king, must decide which of them will become king when he no longer is able. He decides that a race will determine who becomes his successor, but the twist is that whichever princes' horse comes in last is the winner. The book gives a clue and ask the students if they can solve the riddle. After discussing what they think, the books then tell the solution and the end of the story.
