We introduced the new wolf books added to our collection this year in this talk.  We told of the impact the wolves had on our N.American ecology when they were all but eliminated in the 20's & 30's as they were thought to be a menace to everyone.  The effect of their absence was profound and changed populations of plants and animals so much that the government stepped in in 1995 to "correct" their mistake with the re-introduction of wolves into Yellowstone National Park.  We highlighted the neat book "Wild Tracks" with life-sized tracks of all different animals including wolves and also showed some fiction books about wolves.
