Comments:

This was an interesting topic to talk about because it was currently Hurricane season.  We first talked about the worst Hurricane of their time, which was Katrina, showed some pictures of the devastation and gave some statistics. We then read parts out of the two books, facts about Hurricanes, and brought out a globe to show where the Hurricanes form.  We talked about the currant Hurricane that was threatening at this time which was Hurricane IKE, (it hit the Saturday after we gave this book chat,) and showed where our weather section of our Library is.
