Comments: We asked the children to close their eyes and plug their ears for a minute. We explained that Helen Keller lived her life that way. We selected different parts of the book to read to the kids that gave an overview of her life and the amazing person she was. We showed them a chart of the Alphabet in Sign Language and had them practice a few letters.
