We mentioned the BeeHive book Baby Brains and transitioned to the human brain in the NonFiction section 612. We talked about the different parts of the brain that control different parts of our body. Also emphasized the importance of wearing a helmet. We showed pictures of the brain, Hypothalamus, spinal column etc. We presented a series of questions from the “How Bright is your Brain” book to help them see the difference between right brain thinking and left brain thinking. They really enjoyed this.
